Question and Answer Session!

Alright everyone, it’s time for one of my favorite things. My third official question and answer session is about to start! It’s 10am over here on the east coast, so I’m hunkering down for hopefully seven long hours of comments, questions, conversations, and awesomeness.

Here are a few things to know:

  • During this time I will be more than happy to look, review, and critique your blog upon request. This offer ends at 5pm EST. Please be patient with these responses though!
  • Last Q&A I didn’t get too many personal questions, which kind of bummed me out. I understand that those questions are far less valuable and interesting, but feel free to ask about my hubby, my job, my plans, schedule, likes, favorites, dreams, etc!
  • Don’t hesitate to come back more than once today! You can definitely ask more than one question, stop by and check out the other comments, or just reach out throughout the day. I’d love to have you around.
  • As a final note, every comment left here on OA is approved through me before it appears posted. I have only unapproved one comment ever and it was due unwanted soliciting of some products that was pretty much just a spam message. Good or bad, I want you guys to share and tell me whatever you want.
With that being said! If you ask me to review your blog, I find it easiest to not “approve” your comment until I have looked at your site and written a reply. That way I can kind of keep track of who I’ve written to and who still needs a reply! I pace myself throughout the day and sometimes I can loose my place of who I’ve answered. So don’t be worried if you don’t see your comment right away 🙂

Just don’t be shy, pull up a seat, and let’s talk!

    1. I love farm life and hearing all about it. Horses are kind of my jam. So I might be biased, but I really enjoyed scrolling through your posts. I love your little banner, your bright colors, and personal touches everywhere.
As always, I encourage tons of photos. Especially because you have lots of great material all around you, I got a little sad every time I see a post without a picture of a beautiful sunset, gorgeous mare, or snuggly kitty. I say it’s better to overshare than skimp haha.
You kind of got your own theme and thing going on, and I’m already a fan. So I’m coming up a little short on advice (sorry!!), but as far as my opinion goes, a love your little blog. It’s sweet, homey, and a kind of kick ass 😉

  1. Hey Brey! Three things:

    First, I love your blog!

Second, I hope all your plans regarding teaching are going well. (Sorry if I’m a bit behind on this. I fell out of the blogosphere for a few weeks so last I read you were still deciding/ leaning toward a Masters.)

Third, what is your absolute favorite post on your blog?

    1. Hey there! Thanks for commenting and the love 🙂

I did decide what Master’s to pursue (post coming soon!) and work has been exhausting, haha. But things are coming together (kind of. hopefully. yea?).

My favorite? Oi. I really like my post about my first year of marriage. it turned out really raw and honest, and not to pat myself on the back, but kind of beautiful. But I really enjoyed writing about my blogging burnout. It was freeing to admit I was struggling and I also felt helpful by giving advice to other bloggers and kind of myself. 🙂

    1. Working full time definitely makes blogging on a schedule far more difficult! So many days I can’t help but just take a nap once I get home or binge watch some Netflix. It’s hard after working and commuting and traffic to just get home, make dinner, and write long enough to create a meaningful post. And then add in taking pictures, reviewing emails, replying to comments, and looking at other blogs and inspiring sites. It can be exhausting! But it’s possible, and I’m getting the hang of it, slowly but surely 🙂

      1. Very interesting response, thanks, breybrey. I’ve linked to your blog by clicking follow to see what you say in days ahead. By the way, I recommend keeping your hand in at binge watching. It’s ready to roll.

  2. Hola,

    This is Pratyusha from India.
I have recently started my blog. I basically write poetry, quotes and prose. Have been looking for someone who could review the stuff I write on my blog. Thankfully & fortunately found you 😉 So I was hoping you could review my work. Thanks in advance. And let me know how I can I improve. Thanks again.
