Picking the Best of Ordinary Adventures [Poll]

I have some exciting news! On top of applying to grad school, trying to pump out new content here, working, experimenting with new hobbies, and going through tons of paper work for my provisional licensure, I have decided to add more to my plate. But this is completely worth the added stress. I have come across an amazing opportunity. I have found an opening for a guest blogging, paid position, and I want it. Desperately. It’s probably more than a one and in a million chance (literally) that I will be chosen for the job, but that won’t stop me from applying. I’d rather fail than not try, especially with this one.

For the application, I have to send in three blog posts to kind of sum up my writing, photography skills, and who I am as a blogger. And here’s where you guys come in!

I would be forever grateful if you guys took the time to vote for what you think are my best/your favorite posts here at OA. If you’re brand new to my blog, check out my “Top Posts” in my sidebar list which links you some of my more popular posts. I also have a search bar to find specific posts, like the ones listed below. You of course can add in your own favorite posts to the list and leave a comment on which I should submit and why!

As clever as it would be, this is not a way to get more views and clicks. I truly am freaking out over this opportunity and I figure who could rate my work better than my amazing readers? My gratitude is endless, and hugs and love are being sent out to all of you guys. You all are life savers.

  1. I think the voting thing is great and I did vote! I had a thought. (The HR in me is coming out.) What is usually blogged on their site? If they have a theme I’d suggest items that you’ve blogged that match. If not, maybe one thing from each category? (Which looks like the way the vote is going.)
Good Luck!! I hope you get it!!

    1. Thank you! They want DIYs, beauty, and treats (?). but most importantly, a strong voice, being able to copywrite and meet deadlines.
So that’s why I threw in my backdrop one as a fun, easy DIY. And then some stronger pieces to showcase my writing, and some just fun stuff. 🙂
      thanks for voting!

  2. I have not had a chance to read all of your posts, but I personally believe that your posts about blogging, such as mistakes you’ve made and the importance of knowing your blog’s genre are phenomenal. I think they are very inspiring, motivating, and encouraging. I think people want to hear those things and need to hear those things….good advice and inspiration is always needed.
