Hey readers –
It’s finally the start of the weekend! And you all know what that means. It’s time to plop down on your comfiest seat, pull up the internet (may it be on your computer or television or smart phone or tablet) and binge watch a new show. I think you all are really going to enjoy this one.
Why I watched it. I have a love/hate/oh my gosh I can’t believe I’m actually wasting my life away watching this relationship with ABC Family and it’s shows. This post originally was supposed to be about The Secret Life of the American Teenager (which I just finished watching for the second time through last month), and I stopped myself because I couldn’t bring myself to encourage someone else to go through the insanity of that ridiculously stupid show. Nevertheless, I love to hate watching most ABC Family shows and yell at my screen. I have to say though, Melissa and Joey is the exception to this inner battle, because it is actually an adorably hilarious show that I love to watch. Even Drew will laugh and watch episodes with me every once in a while. I love the characters, I love the witty, sweet plot, I love the relationships and obstacles. Most of all, I love the humor, and what more could you ask for in a comedy?
Why you should watch it. It is a super cute, really funny, unique little sitcom that will you leave you happy. No really, you’ll go through each episode and just kind of giggle and smile by the end. You’ll role your eyes, you’ll yell at those stupid love birds to just open their eyes and get together, and swoon whenever Joey takes off his shirt. It really is a comedy everyone can enjoy and have fun watching.
Where to watch it. I orginally watched through the entirity of the show by streaming it online. When I had finally caught up, I was just in time to watch the season three premiere last June. It wasn’t until recently that Melissa and Joey, as well as some other popular ABC Family shows, were added onto Netflix. Season four is about to finish this coming month, but you can start on Netflix, then catch up and finish on ABC Family.com.
How long it will take. By the end of the fourth season in August, there will be 104 episodes, which totals about to about 38 hours straight. Compared to most of the other shows I’ve reviewed, that’s nothing. But it’s still just enough to keep you entertained, keep you busy, and cheer you up.
