I cannot believe that June has already gone and went. I feel like the first week or so would not end, and then suddenly I realized it was the 30th! I feel really proud of myself and overall happy thoughts when I think back on June. I got a lot done, made money, wrote a lot of posts, focused on being fit, and stayed positive. By the end of it, I can say, June was good to me.
This past month, I worked very hard to keep up with my goals. I blogged way more than 4x a week, I created my own little work space, I did not drink a single sip of soda, and I tidied up the house a little more than once a week, which was progress! I tried really hard to stay on top of things and just dive in, which by the end, wasn’t that difficult.
I hope I have the same reviews on August 1st, but I think this month’s goals will be a little trickier to keep up with. Although, I went from 4+ sodas a week to 0 with almost no problem, so I might be wrong!
1. One full week of only clean eating. I have drawn up a very rigorous, healthy meal plan, that is absolutely no fun. But I’m really excited to see what a clean, moderated, strict meal plan can do for my body and overall health. This will be the biggest challenge to bite the bullet and actually start!
2. Focus on trying new things and ideas for OA. I’ve spent all of last month talking about things I want to do differently, and get better at, and even polled you all on what I should do. This month is the time for me to actually get on all that. I want to try out more personal posts, more photo challenges, do more out of the box ideas.
3. Stay active 4x a week. Even if it’s just reaching my step count everyday, or going to the gym with Drew, or doing stretches, I want to be doing some sort of workout four times a week this month. I’m still putting together the next Workout Wednesdays series, but whatever it’ll be, I want to stay active. I mean, what’s the worst that can happen?
4. Clean upstairs (storage). This was apart of my summer bucket list and I’ve decided to get it done this month. We have an extra “bedroom” upstairs in our loft and lately it’s been out dumping ground for winter clothes, papers, old gifts, and random stuff. Honestly, I’m not 100% sure what is actually up there and it’s about time I gutted it. I have some time off as my clients go on vacation this month, so I’ll have plenty of time to designate a day or weekend to this project! It’ll feel so good to have the house 50 pounds lighter of junk.
I am excited about this list, I will feel so much better mentally and physically by the end of it. Everything that goes on my monthly goals are things I really want to get done and am pumped to get started on. Wish me luck!
