Workout Wednesdays // Week four.

Another lame week full of more excuses. My birthday, my cousin spending a long weekend with us, the aquarium (ahhh!), feeling more sluggish and tired than normal…

I know, excuses excuses.

I did power through one day and completed this crazy pin. I was out of breath and sweaty and I totally can see how if I did this three time a week I could have lost a pound. I am starting to feel that most of these cardio pins are just a little too extreme for a fitness newbie.

Luckily for me, this next week is another stretching and split training pin! Another cool down from a rigorous workout week (or what should have been one). To get my butt in gear and keep moving forward, I will challenge myself to do this four times this week!

I’m not going to let this week’s failure get to me though, I’m still making progress. Slow progress, but progress. One workout is better than zero, right?

  1. Lol I need to get my arse in gear too, I’ve been more than lazy. For some reason I feel a need to have a partner to exercise which is bad as it is.

  2. Amen! I’m completely off my workout regiment! One thing I’ve noticed- it’s much easier to keep it up after pushing through about two weeks of getting your routine consistent. Just know, you’re not alone! I’m over here grumbling at my own lack of motivation and excuses. I’m vowing right now: I will work out tomorrow. Period!;)

  3. Stretching is one of my favorite parts about working out! It really makes things so much better, it feels good, and it’s sometimes painful but stretching after an intense workout or even just instead of a workout is something my body is always grateful for. I like these stretches, I’m going to try them.
